Medical & Insurance Support

These programs can help families access health coverage, medical assistance, and autism-related services in Nevada.

  • Nevada Department of Human Services – Medical Assistance
    Helps families apply for Medicaid, Nevada Check Up (children’s health insurance), and other medical assistance programs for low-income households and people with disabilities.

  • Nevada 211 – Disability & Medical Expense Assistance
    A statewide directory where you can search for programs that help with medical expenses, disability benefits, and autism support services.

  • Autism Treatment Assistance Program (ATAP)
    A Nevada state program that helps families of children with autism access behavior treatment by providing financial assistance and support.

  • Adaptive Equipment – Southern Nevada Center for Independent Living (SNCIL)

  • Little Miss Hannah Foundation – Medical/Therapy Equipment Assistance
    Helps families of children with critical or medically complex conditions (under 18) with assistance for medical and therapy equipment not fully covered by insurance.

Parent Education & IEP Support

  • Neubauer Mental Health Services (NMHS)
    Offers outpatient therapy specifically tailored to individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families.

    Offers ongoing sensory-inclusive performances that adjust sound, lighting, and environment to better support guests on the autism spectrum and others with sensory needs.

  • BeLikeBuddy – Nevada Sensory-Friendly Listings
